Painting for about 20 years, I started while flying for United Airlines. While I was a traveling the world, I was able to paint the people and places that inspired me. I began taking art classes in McKinney, Texas and soon joined Southwestern Watercolor Society (SWS) Dallas, Texas. As I became more involved, I volunteered to be in charge of workshops and anything else that allowed me to grow as an artist. I served as SWS President and Exhibition Chairperson, attained Signature Status. While living in Colorado Springs I was in Gallery 113 and member of Pikes Peak Watercolor Society and The Colorado Watercolor Society.
I recently moved to Roseville, CA and joined the The Folsom Art Association, Rocklin Fine Arts and The Lincoln Art League. these groups help me aspired to further my involvement in the local art world. I will be participating in the 29th Annual Placer County Studio Tour this year in November. Please visit their website at www.placerartiststour.org of additional information.
